Canal StenosisFrom: Wendi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Oct 2001 02:12:51 -0600 (CST)
I've been diagnosed with Canal Stenosis with a disc protrusion in the cervical spine and disc dessication in the thoracic spine, and now they are sending me to a neurosurgeon. I suffer from extremely bad pain in my back and down both of my legs. My pain specialist was doing epidurals every two weeks and decided no more because they are not giving me any relief. Any suggestions on what to say to my neurosurgeon, or could you tell me what to expect as far as surgery, or other procedures they may try?? Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Frustrated and Confused, Wendi Farbstein
