I have read( in Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, by C. Northrup) that there is a relationship between tubal ligation and a progesterone ( or maybe progestin, not sure ) imbalance. I have searched these archives as well as the internet and cannot find the original study or research that implicated tubal ligation with this particular issue. Are there any doctors or nurses in this forum with information on this topic? I have one month before the birth of my third child to determine whether to go forward with a tubal ligation and want as much information as possible. Thank you, in advance.
