The recurrence of high grade dysplasia so soon after a CIS was treated is a VERY bad prognostic sign. You have an aggressive case of this disease, and your chances of developing cancer of the cervix must be considered to be unacceptably high. You are not being "sliced and diced" for amusement, but because you have a serious problem that could get worse. I think that a blanket statement that you will refuse any additional surgery is ill advised to say the least. Certainly, you are going to want to carefully evaluate the risks and benefits, but just saying "no more surgery under any circumstance" is foolish and self-defeating. There is not a responsible GYN or GYN oncologist that would not have recomended the exact treatment that you have had.
