Interested in learning more about application of silver nitrate to the cyst cavity & use of a carbon dioxide laser to treat Bartholin cysts.Where can I find more information about these methods ? What is the recovery time & success rate in comparison to the Word Catheter & Marsupialization procedures. Is anyone using these procedures in Canada?

A patient on this forum successfully treated her cyst using a simple procedure. A small incision was made to release the fluid. The incision was left open with a wick/long string to allow drainage for a few days before the incision closed up. She hasn't had a recurrence in 5 years. What is the success rate of this procedure? Antibiotics, sitz baths & draining the cyst with a needle hasn't worked. My cyst is 2 - 2.5cm & is not infected. I've had it for 8 months.
