I am thinking of switching to mircette from Ortho Tri-Cyclen(I have been on this for 5 months) due to extremely painful periods and depression/mood swings. Is it common to only bleed during the two placebo pill days? or does it continue on into the half strength days? I dont start bleeding on ortho until the 3rd placebo day (it has been shifting.) Also is Mircette less effective than Ortho, I know it has lower levels of hormones. Thanks!
