Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: Pelvic pain after orgasm" I have the great good fortune of a husband who spends considerable time on foreplay, and I usually reach orgasm at least once before penetration. Lately, however, I'm experiencing pelvic pain during intercourse - but only if I've already achieved orgasm. It's not a sharp pain, but more like a general "crampy" feeling. While the pain isn't severe enough to warrant "calling the whole thing off," it does have me worried about a possible cause.
