I sympathize with your feeling embarrassed, but remember that health care providers are trained to deal with these things. You wouldn't let your child avoid seeing a doctor if he or she had a medical problem that needed evaluation even if you know your child might cry or be scared. So, you have to take a deep breath and call your doctor! Take your husband or mom or a friend if you are nervous. You need to be seen because discharge and the other problem with piles are hard to evaluate without being seen. If you made it thru childbirth, you can make it thru an exam!! You want to be sure you don't have an infection. Good luck.
