Having a retroverted uterus is a variant of normal. Some people have a retroverted uterus, or a uterus that leans back, and others have an anteverted uterus, or a uterus that leans a bit forward. Check the archives on this, as there is much in there about this.

Also, you will find a lot of information the archives about Endometriosis, as well as going to the Endometriosis Pavilion and the Endo Pavilion on OBGYN.net.
