Let me say first see a dietician or nutrionist...usually your insurance will not cover this but they range from 30 to 50 dollars for a visit but the info is very useful...I can also say one thing that watching you intake may not be as important as what you eat when you eat it and how much...I also have had lots of problems losing weight and right now I cannot because of the fact that I am pregnant but I have gestational diabetes which requires a diet that I must stick to religiously...first of all don't eat just three meals a day divide them up into three meals and three snack spaced 2 hours apart...(the next part is up to you) my diet has made me lose weight while even being pregnant...eat 3 oz. of protein low fat or fat free every meal ...eat 2 oz. of protein per every snack...you can have two fruits a day but they should be fruits like a banana but only half or whole apple stay away from grapes or watermelon...have two pieces of whole wheat bread a day..and three cups of skim milk...it should go breakfast snack lunch snack dinner snack...don't overeat...you can have like for lunch a salad with no carrots and low fat dressing two grilled chicken breasts and this is sufficient...but let me stress the importance of seeing a nutrionist first so she can help you out more..this diet will take the weight off but it is hard to stick to unless you have a really good reason like a baby...

email if you need anything being overweight when you get pregnant puts you at higher risk for gestational diabetes I found out the hard way but if you want to really get it off this diet really works
