large mensus clots

i just ran a search on this site as well as the entire web for clotting during menstruation. i had a baby 4 years ago and was on the pill for 6 years before that. until this last year, i only had very infrequent clotting. i assumed it was because i was on the pill before for some reason. anyway, i wanted to ask the question on here because i recently moved to a different province and my medical forms are delayed. i cannot go to a doctor yet. in the past year or so, i have had very heavy clotting during menstruation. this causes a lot of pain. i would say that i lose about a teaspoon to tablespoon sized clot a few times each day for about 5-6 days of my now 8-9 day period. sometimes the clots are very long as well, like over 2 inches. there is also a very strong odor now. i have not been TRYING to have a baby but have not been using birth control either because of medications i have been on for HS. i am now OFF all the meds as of december 2000 and the clots are getting worse each month, i believe. my period activity has also changed where it will come on very heavy the first day and remain so for five days at least. then it will turn to a brownish colour for the last few days. it used to be shorter, even when not on the pill, and it used to only be heavy the 2nd and 3rd days. anay info or places i can search before i finally get to the doctor here?? thanks!!
