You don't say what the problem was diagnosed as but be that as it may, presuming a normal endometrium, a normal endometrial biopsy and normal bleeding factors, ablation is a way to go for heavy periods. If the uterus is too big for balloon ablation, you may wish to discuss with you doctor rollerball ablation. also, if the uterus is "too big", are there fibroids that are causing a problem? this should be discussed with your doctor as well.
