An aunt of mine has recently been perplexing all of her doctors, and I'm trying to find her some additional information on what her symptoms may be leading to. She's 39 years old, very thin, and for the last three years she has had dark/black discharge from her breasts, long periods of heavy bleeding, and recently her doctor discovered she has a prolactin level of 32. I've looked online, and everything I've seen that sounds similar to this is PCOS, which it seems from what I've read is mainly in women of a bigger build than her 100 pound body. She recently had fluid drawn from her uterus to be tested and biopsied so that they can rule out cancer, I'd imagine, but if anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I would greatly appreciate them.
