I too have PCOS. I have had wonderful luck on the OCP and spironolactone route. I don't have any insulin resistance, so my doc has not tried glucophage. You can take both glucophage and OCP and spiro. if you need to. I have finally been able to lose weight (70 lbs.) and the hair is much much better. (I personally think the brand name aldactone is better than the generic spironolactone.) Hope things get better.
