I'm at week 23 in my pregnancy and have been diagnosed with carrying a twin pregnancy one normal feotus with normal chromasoms and one mole, I have been told by my local hospital that this is very rare. The consultant advised us that it would be ok to continue with the pregnancy to 30/32 weeks gestational,i really would like to hear from anyone who has been through what i'm experiencing at the moment,i feel abit left in the dark by my local hospital and feel i need some more information towards the outcome of these types of situations. It all started when i had a triple test my hcg levels where elivated 58x the norm first my partner and i were told we had a 1/10 chance for downs baby then that was cleared, at our follow up scan from the amniocentisis we werte then told i had a potential mole twin pregnancy absoluteley shocking to say the least we had never heard of this before, so if anyone can ease our minds be it in anyway at all we would be very grateful. If anyone could tell us what the chances are of being able to try again we would like too hear from you, this is because i have cystic ovaries. thanks for taking time to read my letter.
