May need MRI, want to get pregnant, should I wait?

I did see a previous post where the doctor said MRI's were fine if you were pregnant. I have been hearing other information that this may not be a good idea, or only in an urgent case. What exactly is an MRI and why do you feel it would be safe for a pregnant woman to have one?

Thank you. Kris Leigh cbleigh@auracom.com
