Is an ammniocentesis routinely done or is it only done if the health care provider feels that there are risk factors with the pregnancy and wants to rule them out? I have heard that an ammnio can 100% determine the sex of the baby. How? If the parents do not wish to know the baby's sex can they have that part of the results withheld from them?
