anti-miscarriage drugs and their effect on the next generationFrom: Alice (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 24 Jun 2001 19:36:22 -0500 (CDT)
When pregnant in 1970 I experienced some 'spotting'. My obstetrician administered weekly injections for several months. The shots were to prevent miscarriage. I have no idea of what was contained in those shots. i did give birth to a healthy, full-term daughter. My 30 year old daughter has just informed me that she is trying to conceive. She and her husband have been trying for 5 months. I am concerned that the anti-miscarriage drug I received could cause infertility. Is there any way of finding out what drug might have been injected? (the obstetrician is deceased) What information can I pass along to my daughter?
