Re: tiredness and blood loss

I'm 50 have been coping with DUB for past year - dropped my crit 9 points last fall- but was still at bare minimum normal. Tired was not the problem - dizziness and breathlessness was. I do know, however, from other activities that tend to make me dehydrated that dehydration makes me fatigued and rehydration perks me up. So, I have this routine when I'm bleeding heavily: I treat myself to liverwurst (which I love but don't eat much because of fat issues) for the iron and, I drink a big glass of water with every tampon change (like when you're nursing, drink something with every feeding!) Also, gyn put me on OCP to try and control bleeding - partial success with bleeding but - surprise, I've never felt better in years, perky, alive etc. - like from the first pill! I don't understand it but I'll take it.

Hope you find a solution.
