I started my period on Thursday May 24. This was a bit strange, because I am on the birth control pill and I wasn't due for another week. My period was normal, with moderate clotting and heavy on the first two days. I dismissed the early onset and began taking the pill again the folowing Sunday May 27. Normally the first dose of the pill stops my period, but this time it didn't. It is now Sunday June 3 and I am still bleeding. It is very light, usually amounting to only spots on the pad. I am now a full week into the pill package. I am starting to get concerned and am wondering if I should contact my gynecologist. Please respond via e-mail thank you.
