pregnancy and the pillFrom: Katie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 May 2001 19:53:07 -0500 (CDT)
I am 41 years old and have been on various pills for exactly one year this month. I have been on Orthotricyclen for six months now. I've experienced breakthrough bleeding several times. Last month I bled slightly during week three and again during week four (the placebo week) of the pill pack. This month, no breakthrough bleeding, but now no period during week four. Is it possible to be pregnant after being on the pill for so long? Could there be any other reason for no period?
