After all is said & done...chronic vaginal pain?? (physician opinions!)

Hi All:

Well, the saga continues. I had a vaginal vault/bladder suspension on 02/27/01 and after having severe vaginal pain the surgeon informed me that the right side of the repair had failed! Since then, I have had numerous problems. I had a stitch taken out on 05/11/01 to ease vaginal pain I continued to have. Well, it has been a few weeks now and I am starting to have continued vaginal pain, especially after light lifting and doing my normal daily routine. I am very paranoid about the left side coming down and can only hope that this is not what is happening. I am considering making yet another appointment with the surgeon to see if the left side is starting to come down. I did have bleeding and found out that I had granulation tissue which the physician treated. I have had a few spots off and on in the last week, but continue with vaginal pain (not severe, just uncomfortable). Nothing I take helps the pain, I am also having alot of cramping, but I just finished a course of macrobid for a bladder infection so I assume it can still be causing cramping and pain. After all of this, am I facing having to live with chronic vaginal pain? Should I make an appointment with the surgeon? I might add that this man has got to be sick and tired of seeing me at this point! Thank you in advance for reading my post!
