VERY BAD PAINFrom: AMooney (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 23 May 2001 16:14:57 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I had an endo & cervical biopsy 1 week ago today. I was in a lot of pain after & uncomfortable ever since. I am on the BCP so I was due to have period this weekend, my doc & I figured due to everything that was happening down there I wouldn't have one...I started to bleed very early Sat morning & stopped late Sunday night....this is very very unusal for me. I usually go for 4-5 days heavy. After the biopsy my stomach, lower in pelvic area, was swollen.....I thought that it went down on Sunday...now it is bigger....honestly looks like a 3-4 month preg stomach. It is also very uncomfortable. More painful to the left side. I've always been either constipated or have the complete opposite (hate discussing that part) But it doens't feel like that...if it was it's still not normal. Does it usually feel this bad after having this proceedure. I did post a message last week after the biopsy & did call my doc, but things have gotten worse. I am seeing her tomorrow, but the pain is very uncomfortable & making me VERY CRANKY!!!! (Hard to live with right now....need to be medicated for pain but nothing right now seems to help)(over the counter stuff) Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance A.
