32 weeks pregnant with contractions

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and considered high risk because of a previous cervical conization. The last few days I've been having painful contractions that run from the sides of my uterus down to my vagina. They don't last long and go away as soon as I lie down. It seems that any activity requiring standing or walking-even only for a few minutes-brings them on. I did not have contractions this early with my other 2 children but I hadn't had the cone either. Here's my question: Should I call my OB in the morning and just let him know what's going on or feel secure in the fact that the pain stops when I rest??? Thanks for answering my question.
