uterine dehiscenceFrom: Anita (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 6 May 2001 19:36:01 -0500 (CDT)
I had a cesarean due to a HSV outbreak in Sept. 1998 and tried to VBAC in May 2000. My OB was concerned because of some bleeding, and would not allow me to VBAC although I had some labor very early which slowed down. When she made the incision, there was a window, she said only 1mm. was left of my uterus, that it was so thin she could see the baby's hair through it. She said she would not contraindicate future pregnancy, but would not want me to labor. Is there ANY possibility any other OB would allow a VBAC after this? How likely is a rupture during pregnancy with no labor?
