Bad hemorrhoids are truly nasty and can cause pain with anything in the
area, including intercourse and once they get inflammed, can last quite
a while (hours or days). the concept of vulvodynia should be evaluated
but if pain is only with and/or after intercourse, other factors need to
be evaluated as well (infection, etc.)
