In the mean time, how about fighting for insurance coverage of contraception? Women of New York, please call your legislators *TODAY* regarding the Women's Health and Wellness Act (S. 3 and A. 2006). Note that the Senate version contains a huge loophole allowing many employers and one large insurer to continue to avoid providing this basic health service. Call your state Senator at 518 455 2800, thank him for passing S. 3, and ask him to negotiate with the Assembly to come up with a compromise bill that doesn't exclude thousands of women. For more information on this bill, see http://www.naralny.org. For the names of your state legislators, call your County Board of Elections.
