There's a flaw in your logic. If the test were available to evaluate the strain found in your wart, that still would not tell your partner that you weren't an asymptomatic carrier of another, more worrisome subtype. In other words, you should practice the safest possible sex because there is no test to demonstrate that you are not carrying a worrisome HPV subtype. The same would be true had you never been diagnosed with genital warts. I do commend you for your concern.
