Then in December, I had some light brown spotting around days 11-12 of my 30 day cycle, along with a bit of an achy left side (around the ovaries). I had no symptoms in January or February. Then yesterday, I spotted again around day 15 of my cycle - again with an achy left side. I also had swelling in my left ankle a few days before the spotting - the same foot I had a blood clot in 3 years ago during a pregnancy. I'm 35 years old. What might these symptoms be a sign of - and should I go for another gyn checkup before it's time for my annual one again in November?
