Re: vulvar dermatology question- dr lynne please look at!From: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 23 Mar 2001 23:07:10 -0800 (PST)
Jill, I'm Kristy and I've been following your posts. And yes it is possible to have vulvodynia symptoms in just one area like yours. Vulvodynia is different for every woman who has it. Some ladies don't have a lot of problems with it, and others like myself have a lot of problems with it. Also, it may take some work to find creams that don't affect you b/c of the alcohol. The only creams that I use for my vulvodynia are the lidocaine ointment, and the Premarin cream and although they may have alcohol in them the alcohol doesn't bother me. Your best bet is to get in touch with a vulvar specialist if your gyn isn't able to give you any help. Also there are e-lists that talk about this subject. If you want more info on which lists I belong to please let me know. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! Mail.
