Vaginal discharge

I am writing in regards to my mother.

She has had a persistent, annoying daily vaginal discharge for approx. 2 years. She has had a complete hysterectomy 20 years ago. It is a pink, pasty discharge which has the odor of old blood. She has seen two gynecologists which prescribed Premarin, Cleosin and Dienstrol, none of which helped. She was recenttly told that she has thinning of her vaginal wall, but there is no signs of lesions, extreme dryness, etc. She now has an appointment with a third physician.

As I said, it is quite an annoyance for her. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.
