I'm so glad! So you weren't diagnosed with gonorrhea, but were diagnosed with possible gonorrhea. The culture will tell you more.

Yes, it's possible to have white blood cells in the vaginal discharge without having a vaginal infection. White blood cells fight off foreign "intruders," infectious and non-infectious. In a person who is at higher risk for sexually transmissible infection (and, true or not, visitors to STD clinics are assumed to be at high risk for STDs), white blood cells in the vaginal discharge are most often taken as a marker of gonorrhea or chlamydia. I hope that clarifies things for you.
