Help" Hi, A few days ago I started getting irritation around the opening of the vagina and the vulva. It got to the point where when I went to wipe, it was sore. Then I started getting a whitish cottage cheese discharge.. I'm assuming this is a yeast infection. It itches something awful and it is sore from itching or something. It's red etc. Today I'm getting a smoother yellowish-green discharge with occasionally still cottage cheese like discharge. I'm miserable. It itches, and it's swollen and red and might have a rash starting. Is this a yeast? I do not have an STD. I'm going to try a OTC yeast infection medicine. Is this ok?
