I am so sorry for your losses.
Sounds like an incompetent cervical os and the recommended treatment is
a cerclage (stitch in the cervix to keep it closed) after the first
trimester. Many do this stitch soon afgter 13 weeks pregnant. Follow
up is needed in case additional bedrest in necessary as well.
