Re: ? ForDr.Hill)Update on FSH and Estradiol levelsFrom: Peggy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 1 Mar 2001 16:00:17 -0600 (CST)
>>>Dr. Hill., I recieved the results of the bloodwork and both my Dr. and I were quite pleased, The FSH went up to 26.6 and the the Estradiol went down to below 15, Unfortunatly this did not last very long, I had it tested 2 weeks later and the FSH was down to 11 and the EStradiol was way up to 173. The only thing my Dr. can come up with is that my body is motabolizing the Arimidex too fast for it to be working. We are giving it 1 more month and if it doesn't change we are going to stop the treatment.I know you suggested looking for a second opinion with a gyn who specializes in endo. and pelvic pain last I posted. With the problem I am having with the Estrogen levels and the Arimidex not inhibiting it would you still reccomend that be the course that I take? My Dr. is suggesting possibly sending me to a research clinic either in Boston or down in New York. I am really frustrated and at this point. Thanks for your help Peggy
