Hormonal ImbalancesFrom: andy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Feb 2001 08:56:38 -0700
I am hoping someone can give me a clue as to what might be going on with me. Six years ago I had a hysterectomy due to complications at childbirth and now have one ovary and my cervix left. Anyway my problem is that each month around the 25th of the month I go through what I feel is a hormonal change as I feel unlike myself. I feel tired, extremely depressed, and feel out of sorts like my body is shaky inside and my hands are clumsy. I cannot concentrate and I get very irritable and weepy. I even broke a dish last night because I dropped the pizza upside down and felt anger well up inside of me and bang there went the dish and I sat at the stove balling my eyes out. This is something that occurs every month around the same time. I feel so lost when my body goes through this change. Please give me some advice on what measures or tests I can have done to see what exactly is wrong with me?? I just don't want to go to the regular dr. and have him order something that I may not need. Does anyone know of tests that can pinpoint exactly where a person might be lacking in hormones??? Thanks for your time. Lori
