confusedFrom: amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 10 Feb 2001 20:05:22 -0600 (CST)
I'm 21. I've had irregular periods for the past 6 years. At first I would just miss a month here or there. But last time I went 9 months w/out. I went to a general family doc and he said that I have ammenorhea. I was told to take Provera every 3-4 months to make me menstruate. For the past two years I have been having excrutiating pains in the area of my left ovary. It used to last only a few minutes and would occur once every few weeks. But now it happens more frequently and lasts hours. I don't see a pattern of occurrances either. For the past 2 months I have had an urgency to urinate frequently. Went to the doc-no stds, no bladder/urinary tract infection, no pregnancy, no dramatic change in thyroid levels. Had an ultrasound-no cysts. besides the pains and urination, I experience fatigue, depression, and lack of drive. No pregnancies. Any suggestion-anybody?!?!?!
-- Thanks for any help, amy
