The most likely cause for your cyst is that it represents a cyst of ovulation or corpus luteum. This is a bit on the large side for that but maybe there was some bleeding into it following ovulation. As far as the concern aspect, yes, there is concern if it does not resolve on its own. Particularly in your case with a previous borderline tumor. As far as your period, I would check a pregnancy test and if nothing, then you can certainly be give something to bring on a cycle or you could just wait and see if it starts spontaneously... Lynn
