Ovarian Cysts??!

What could cause multiple and/or large ovarian cysts? I had my right ovary and a wedge section of my left ovary removed in July 2000 - low malignant potential (borderline) ovarian cancer. I'm 28. Today I had my first followup ultrasound, since a followup lap in October. The lap was clean, normal, good to go. CA125 have been in the 10-12 range (in July it was 111). The ultrasound today showed a large 5-6cm fluid cyst with small septae inside (a few short, tiny lines) and then another cyst ~0.5-1cm that appeared to be just fluid. My last period started January 7th, I believed I ovulated on January 18th (based on BBT and cervical fluid), and expected my period yesterday or today (my cycles have been averaging 25-26 days with a luteal phase averaging 12-13 days). Over the weekend my temps had started to drop some and on Monday I had a little spotting. However, yesterday(tues) and today(wed) my temperature starting rising again and no period!? I had hoped I was pregnant, but no sac was found on the ultrasound...just this large cyst (which doesn't look at all like my tumor did in June on the ultrasound).

Would I need to be given something to start my period if it doesn't begin on it's own in the next week? Should I try a pregnancy test or is that just false hope? Is this cyst something to worry about? Can it go away on its own?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I wait.....for calls from the drs. and my period!

Thank you for your help!

- M.
