IUI or ICI (donor insemination)

My husband was diagnosed with sertolli cell only syndrome (he does not produce sperm) and we have elected to go with donor insemination. The company who provides the sperms can send them to my doctor who can perform the iui or they can send them directly to my home where I can do an ici (inter-cervical insemination).

My question: What is the difference in success rates between these two options?

In addition, I will be using clomid to lengthen my luteal phase which I have heard makes the cervical mucous somewhat hostile.

2nd question: how will clomid effect the success rate of the ici?

Thanks for your help!
