Hi. My name is Wendy and I have been diagnosed with a desmoid tumor. I would appreciate if you could help me with some questions I have. The tumor is located in the abdominal wall. I had it removed and now they are telling me I need a wide margin excision of the surrounding area with replacement mesh to cover the gap. Will I be able to have another baby after is surgery? Have you heard this to be a common young women's postpartum disease? Where can I find more info. of other protocols and their success rates? Do I need this wide margin excision? Do you have any patients who had this procedure? Do you know if after the removal of the surrounding tissues has there been reoccurence? Frightened in New Jersey. Please help me with the questions. Thank you very much. Wendy
