Discovery of Pelvic Adhesions During Laparoscopy - Effects on Fertility

My husband and I tried unsuccessfully for 5 years to become pregnant. During pelvic laparoscopic surgery my OBGYN discovered pelvic adhesions on both ovaries and tubes. He said that the left side was too damaged to repair but he was successful at removing the adhesions on my right side. He seems to think that this may improve my chances of pregnancy now that all right side adhesions have been removed and would like to start me on fertility drugs. I would like another opinion...Is it at all possible that pregnancy could now occur (I know that my tubes are not blocked due to prior testing)? Will fertility drugs help this process at all? And is it possible that the adhesions could come back? I would appreciate any help.
