Please answer if you can. I suddenly starting having severe pain in my left breast. I don't remember recently hitting myself. I had surgery to remove benign tumors in about 1970 & really have had no serious problems since. Sometimes discomfort from scar tissue, but that is all. This past Sunday, all of a sudden, I have had EXTREME tenderness around where the scar tissue is as well as on the opposite side of the same breast. I checked this morning & it was somewhat reddened where the most tender spot was. When I would lie on my back it did not hurt except if I touched it, but on my sides unless it was supported would hurt. Please tell me what you would think this is caused from. Last summer I had slipped on a fence gate & hit myself, but that was 6 mos. ago. I have a doctor's appointment with my gyn on 1/23. Thanks Bonnie
