Reply: William F. von Almen, II, MD, FACOG: "Re: spotting???" I am 39 yrs old. I had an Ablation Nov. 99 that didn't work I had a lot of pain after the Ablation. I was doing better In Oct. 2000 I had alot of pain and had a heavy period on the 16 th. In Nov. I didn't have a period at all. I always have a period! In Dec. I started spotting on the 7th and have spotted on and off since. I am supposed to be having another period on Jan. 2nd. I am going to the Doctor on the 4th and was wondering what kind of test I might be looking to have. What do you think might be wrong? Oh, I had a tubal ligation 11yrs. ago. Thanks for any help you can give.
