It is not unusual to have some variation in the behavior of your cycles, particularly in the teenage years. At this stage, I would simply keep an eye on it and see how things go over time. For the cramping, you can use Aleve or Advil. If the cramping becomes a major problem, I would recommend seeing a gynecologist. If anatomically, everything seems normal, he/she may offer birth control pills to help with the symptoms. They help in decreasing on the cramping. If you haven't had a pap and pelvic exam done, you are getting to the age where a first one is indicated anyway... Lynn
