Cycle messed upFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: Nancy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Dec 2000 09:20:30 -0600 (CST)
I am 43 years old and for as long as I can remember, my menstrual cycle has been 24 or 25 days. I had a thermal alblation in Feb, 2000 and a myomectomy and tubal ligation in early Oct. My first 2 cycles following surgery were right on time, the last period starting on Dec 1. Well today is the 27th day and I did not get my period. I have felt a little crampy for the past 2 days and had a headache (hormone related) on days 24 and 25. My question is: could the surgery have effected my cycle - even if I am almost 3 months post-op? If not, should I be concerned? The only time my cycle was longer than 25 days was when I was pregnant. (and my youngest is almost 12) Thank you so much for your time.
