Appendicitis or Ovarian Cyst pain?From: Ginger (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 21 Dec 2000 09:37:45 -0600 (CST)
I have been having a very sharp, shooting-like pain in my lower right pelvic area. It is not constant or unbearable, but it is quite painful and has been occuring frequently the last 2 days. I have PCOS, but am on OrthoCyclen and thought that the Pill would keep the cysts "dormant" and keep new ones from forming. Are there any other signs, besides the pain, that would indicate an appendicitis? I would feel foolish if I went to see the Dr. and it was nothing. Thank you for your help!
