If blood glucose ups and downs are your problem, then you may need to be eating more complex carbohydrates and proteins, and greatly reduce your intake of simple carbohydrates. In addition to consulting your primary health care provider and/or GYN, you may want to talk with a registered dietician about changes in your eating habits that may minimize the ups and downs. Remember that low-fat foods are normally high in carbohydrates.
