I have suffered form chronic pelvic pain for over 4 years now. I have had a total hysterctomy due to endometriosis. I was not put on any homones for 6 months after my surgery to make sure the Endo was gone. I was then started on prempro and have been on it since but it seems to have stopped working for me so when I returned to my gyn 3 weeks ago he put me on the climara patch which was working very well. But I had a follow up with my GP and he wants me to stop the climara and take 10 mg of provera and 0.3mg of premarin. What can the provera do for me that the prempro didnt I asked many questions but never really got the answer I wanted. My GP still thinks that it is the Endo that is causing my pain my gyn thinks it is scar from the endo and the surgerys I have had. Has any one else been put on this dose of preovera and premarin. Dose it make sence to be put on this now? I have tried just about everything else even lupron and the pain still never goes away.It seems like if it was still Endo the lupron would have taken care of it or being off hormones for 6 months. I would like anyones input on this, Thanks. Denise
