Please respect my family time > Dr. Shanahan, With all due respect, I understand the need for a Dr. to perform examinations before prescribing meds. I have been in to see him 3 times in the last 6 months. Six months ago I had a breast exam and BP check. I follow up with him all the time for my BP as it is high. I was in twice in October. When is enough enough? I work full time and don't have time to go to the Dr. that often unless it is really needed. I don't feel it is urgent that I have a breast/pelvic exam every six months in order to be able to take Premarin. All the medical articles/opinions/etc. I have read indicate that is probably best for a young surgically menopausal woman to take Premarin, and I don't think I should have to be seen 4 or 5 times a year in order to be able to do this.
