Montgomery, MD: "Re: white clumps in period" I am on ortho-tricyclin and I have had normal periods that havent been late for 4 or 5 months now. This month I started spotting late. I dont mean to be graphic, but when I removed a tampon today, it was covered with a lot of white, stretchy stuff(similar to lining but different) and a blood clot. This has never happened.
